Each January, the Social Change and Intercultural Engagement (SCIE) office hosts Dream Week, which is an annual celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This event is held in partnership with the Office of the Chaplain and Religious Life.

Please join us for a lunch and learn about the Civil Rights Movement featuring legendary civil rights activist Dr. Valda Harris Montgomery, who will share her experience witnessing pivotal moments of the Civil Rights Movement in Montgomery, Alabama, and her family's close relationship with the King family. Food will be provided for registered attendees.
