Please join the Technology-Enhanced Immersive Learning (TEIL) Cluster as Jiun-Yu Wu, PhD, from the Department of Teaching and Learning at SMU presents “Unlocking the Classroom Code: An AI-Enhanced Multimodal Key to Engaging and Immersive Learning”.  In today’s data-rich educational environment, unlocking the true potential of student engagement requires more than traditional metrics. By utilizing AI-enhanced multimodal learning analytics, this approach deciphers the "classroom code" through diverse data sources—capturing meaningful insights from discussion posts, video viewing patterns, peer interaction, chatbot conversations, and emotion detection, along with survey responses to predict and enhance learning outcomes.
