How can looking at art change the way we see others—and ourselves?

Join journalist and art communicator Pablo Ortiz de Zárate for an interactive virtual workshop exploring the connection between art, emotions, and empathy. Through guided observation and conversation about selected works from the Meadows Museum collection, we will learn to look more closely, recognize the emotions conveyed in art, and consider perspectives beyond our own.

Together, we will explore how these insights can help us build empathy and foster more compassionate connections in our classrooms, communities, and everyday lives.
