Join us for refreshments and learn practical ways to apply your language study to careers in interpretation and translation. This hands-on workshop will feature practical activities (sight, consecutive and simultaneous) in Spanish, French, and Italian.

About the presenter: Dr. Vicente Iranzo is a certified medical interpreter with experience in hospitals and clinics in Texas and Utah. He has also served as an interpreter for schools and courts in Texas. As an Assistant Professor of Spanish at the University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Iranzo has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in translation and interpreting in both Spanish and French.
