Application-based program, full-semester commitment

Crain Emerging Leaders is a one-semester leadership experience designed exclusively for first-year students ready to begin their journey at SMU with intention. Through interactive sessions, meaningful conversations, and hands-on activities, you’ll explore your strengths, build foundational leadership skills, and connect with peers who are also navigating their first year. You’ll also engage with current student leaders and campus offices to learn about real leadership opportunities and pathways for involvement across SMU. Along the way, you’ll gain confidence, discover your values, and develop the tools to lead with purpose in your involvement, your community, and beyond.
