Mission
The Feminist Equality Movement is a collection of SMU students and faculty who exist to dismantle the assumption that gender and sex are defined roles in society. FEM is designed to create an intersectional, inclusive, and affirming understanding of feminism through programming and activism. All programming will be devised with the intention to raise the voices of those who have been excluded and underheard. FEM will maintain a standard of advocacy and support for all persons on the SMU campus, specifically survivors of gender-based and asexual violence.
